I’m excited to be part of the Avid team and to work alongside the people driving innovation and change in New Zealand. The spirit of number 8 wire ingenuity is a cornerstone of our national identity, and I’m passionate about supporting those who bring that creativity to life.
I take a holistic and commercial approach to legal advice, grounded in authenticity and collaboration. I enjoy working closely with clients to craft practical legal solutions that support their goals. My focus is on entrepreneurs, high-growth and technology companies, and venture capital investors, along with advising on privacy, consumer law, and broader commercial matters.
Most recently, I was Senior Legal Counsel at a trusted, innovative and longstanding new Zealand brand, supporting the global business. My work there included a strong focus on connected appliances and the evolving legal landscape around privacy, AI, and the Internet of Things, as well as commercial contracts covering manufacturing, supply, distribution, logistics, and consumer law.
Before moving in-house, I worked in private practice in New Zealand and London, specialising in corporate and commercial law, including fundraising, investment, M&A, and general advisory work.
